DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – For the third time in the 2009-10 season, Webber International’s Nikki King was tabbed as The Sun Conference women’s basketball Player of the Week on Jan. 4. King led the Warriors to an 80-60 win over conference opponent Edward Waters in the WIU’s only game of the week. The junior center totaled 22 points, 16 rebounds and six blocks in 28 minutes of action. She was nine of 17 from the field, four of seven from the free throw line and also had two steals.
King currently leads the league in rebounding with 108. She is average 10 rebounds and 17 points per game.
