DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Abby Hall, a junior from Louisville, Ky., was selected by The Sun Conference as the volleyball Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
Hall recorded 66 kills during the week, leading the Eagles to a perfect 4-0 record at the 2010 ERAU Labor Day Tournament Sponsored by The National Guard. Against Wayland Baptist, Hall recorded 25 kills and 16 digs, and followed that with a 15-kill, 11-dig performance in Embry-Riddle’s 3-0 sweep of No. 21 Madonna.
She currently leads the conference in kills (140) and kills/set (5.0) and ranks fourth in The Sun Conference with a .272 hitting percentage.
Hall and the Eagles will travel to Georgetown, Ky. to take part in the Rumpke Invitational hosted by Georgetown College this weekend. ERAU will take on St. Catharine and Cumberland on Friday before facing off against Union on Saturday.
