No. 3 Eagles Repeat as Region XIV, FSC Champions

LAKE WALES, Fla. - For the fourth-straight year, the Eagles women's golf team is atop the Florida Sun Conference and NAIA Region XIV. Under the direction of five-time FSC/Region XIV Coach of the Year Maria Lopez, ERAU captured the titles at Lakes Wales Country Club after the final round of play on Monday.

Embry-Riddle entered the day in first place with a 327 and posted a 317 on day two for a championship-winning total of 644. The Savannah College of Art & Design captured second place with 650 after posting a day-two low of 315. Host Webber International came in third.

Carrie Rowe from Webber International won medalist honors with a 152 (71-81=172) while Katie Decker from Northwood and Katina Ruest from SCAD finished in second and third, respectively.

With the win, the Eagles earn an automatic bid to nationals which will take place from May 20-23 at Lake San Marcos Golf Club in San Marcos, Calif.
