Northwood Women’s Soccer Advances To NAIA Championship Site
West Palm Beach, FLA.—The Northwood University Women’s Soccer Team will be heading to Decatur Alabama for the 2009 NAIA Women’s Soccer Championship tournament.
The Lady Seahawks won Saturday afternoon 2-1 against Siena Heights University in the NAIA opening round game.
Adi Jurman and Katya Salguero each scored goals in the win for the Seahawks. Lisa Ohberg added an assist and the entire team had 21 shots in the game.
Siena Heights goalkeeper Haley Scott had a very impressive game saving 12 shots.
The Lady Seahawks will be playing in Alabama the first week of December, more game information will be coming soon.
