SAVANNAH, Ga. – Embry-Riddle (Fla.) University and St. Thomas (Fla.) University won their semifinal matches at the 2010 The Sun Conference Men’s Tennis Tournament Saturday (April 17) at the Bacon Park Tennis Courts.
The third-ranked and top-seeded Eagles of Embry-Riddle shut out No. 4 seed Bees of Savannah College of Art and Design 5-0. St. Thomas (Fla.) University, which is the No. 2 seed in the tournament and No. 15 in the nation, edged No. 3 seed Webber International University, which is ranked No. 19 nationally, 6-2 in the other.
Embry-Riddle and St. Thomas now advance to the 10 a.m. tournament title match Sunday (April 18).
