Warner Soccer Provides Free Soccer Clinics in Little Haiti
MIAMI, Fla. - The Warner Men’s Soccer team finished their academic year of soccer in style by heading down to Little Haiti in Maimi, Fla. to provide a free soccer clinic to the kids in the area and then winning three games in a day.
The scoring was spread out between JP Jimenez, Thanas Bitro, Marc Jeanty, Danny Scully, and Shane Monroe. Defensively, the Royals didn’t give up a goal all day with Reginald Francois leading a strong defense (Leo Acosta, Stevens Cabas, Gus Zamora, and others) and Jonathan Romero stopping anything that got by to include a tremendous PK save.
“We had a great day of soccer and then some fun time at the beach; however, the highlight of the day for me was seeing the young men of Warner University do well during the clinic and having fun with the kids. In addition, I think the enthusiastic crowd in the Little Haiti Stadium got to see three of their own (Bryson Francois, Reginald Francois, and Marc Jeanty) all play so well while knowing they are successfully achieving a Warner University degree—it truly was a day to be proud of in many ways,” said head coach Kurt Bienias.
