-The defending Sun Conference regular season and tourney champs are off to a 3-1 start following a strong showing at the Faulkner Invitational.  
-The lone loss was to Mobile, which is receiving votes in the preseason Top 25.
- Lindsey Wilson is 4-0, cruising through the field at the Lindsey Wilson Classic. Of its four opponents, three are ranked or receiving votes. Only No. 21 Indian Wesleyan was able to win a set.  
- The Blue Raiders have been off for 12 days, following the cancellation of the Our Lady of the Lake Tournament (San Antonio, Texas) due to Hurricane Harvey.

- Webber opponents have been held to a team attacking percentage of just .102 in 13 sets.
