DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Warner’s Ivana Soberal was tabbed as the women’s basketball Player of the Week for The Sun Conference on Dec. 13. The senior guard led the Royals to a perfect 2-0 week, averaging 18.5 points, 3.5 boards and 2.5 assists per game.
In a 54-50 victory over NCAA II Palm Beach Atlantic, Soberal totaled five rebounds and 18 points, including 16 in the second half alone as the Royals grabbed their first win over the Sailfish in four seasons. She followed that performance with 19 points, two rebounds, four assists and a steal as Warner downed Clearwater Christian 81-46. She was 8-of-16 from the field and 3-of-11 from beyond the arc in that contest.
