DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.—Hector Bello of St. Thomas has been selected as The Sun Conference Player of the Week Monday for games played Feb. 7-13, 2011.
Bello went 8-for-12 in three games last week while driving in two runs and scoring two runs himself. The junior also had two doubles, two stolen bases and drew one walk for the Bobcats in their conference sweep of Florida Memorial.
