DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Adam Miller of South Carolina-Beaufort has been selected as this week's Sun Conference Pitcher of the Week. Miller is the first USCB pitcher to be honored in 2011.
Miller made two appearances last week, pitching one inning of relief against former TSC member Edward Waters, keeping the Tigers at bay, setting down EWC in order.
The Savannah, Ga. native threw in the Sandsharks' 5-0 victory over Ave Maria in a conference game over the weekend. The junior scattered seven hits and two walks over nine complete innings, not allowing a run and fanning six AMU batters. It was Miller's first complete game of the season.
