DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Embry-Riddle's Phillip Reamy has been tabbed as this week's Sun Conference Pitcher of the Week for games played Mar. 21-27, 2011.

The Eagles' Reamy appeared in four games for the sixth-ranked squad, earning a win and three saves along the way. The senior right hander from Centreville, Va. picked up his first win of the 2011 season in a relief appearance against NAIA No. 1 and defending National Champion Cumberland (Tenn.) on the road. Reamy also recorded his 10th, 11th and 12th saves of the season in ERAU's three-game conference sweep of St. Thomas this past weekend; he ranks first in the nation in the category. Reamy allowed just two hits in 3.2 innings of work against the Bobcats, striking out four STU batters in the process. Reamy tied the single-season program record for saves and is now just one away from tying the career record for saves.
