DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Embry-Riddle's Reta Woodard has been selected as The Sun Conference Field Athlete of the Week in women's track and field for the week of Mar. 21-27, the conference announced Monday. This is the second consecutive week that Woodard has earned this distinction.
Woodard participated in the FSU Relays in Tallahasee, Fla. over the weekend, where she posted an eighth-place finish in the discus throw. The redshirt freshman threw a distance of 41.74m, earning her a top-10 finish amongst a field of 25 athletes, mostly from NCAA Division I schools.
