DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference announced that Ben Kline of Embry-Riddle is this week's baseball Player of the Week for his games played Apr. 11-17, 2011.
Kline, a junior from Omaha, Neb., helped the Eagles to a perfect 5-0 week with a victory over NCAA II No. 8 Tampa and four wins over Edward Waters over the weekend. The shortstop was .500 (8-for-16) from the dish, while driving in eight runs and scoring six himself. Kline had four extra-base knocks including two long balls while also stealing two bases for the second-ranked Eagles.
