DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - For the second time this season Embry-Riddle Tucker Jensen has been named The Sun Conference Pitcher of the Week. Jensen earned the award for his performance in games played Apr. 18-24, 2011.
Jensen was outstanding in his eight-inning, four-hitter shutout of SCAD Savannah on Saturday. Jensen allowed just four hits in eight frames while fanning six Bees en route to his 11th win of the season. Jensen picked up his first combined shutout (his fourth overall) against SCAD. The senior from Ormond Beach, Fla. is 11-1 on the season and leads the nation in wins.
