DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Sun Conference announced Embry-Riddles’s Tova Torstensson as the league’s women’s soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 11 on Monday.
Torstensson anchored the Eagles' defense as ERAU earned a 2-1 win over No. 9 Concordia (Calif.) and a 1-1 draw against No. 21 Graceland (Iowa) during the week. The sophomore from Stockholm, Sweden played every minute in both overtime matches.
