DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – After leading the St. Thomas women’s soccer team a 3-0 record during the week ending Sept. 18, sophomore Sara Mira was tabbed as The Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. Mira finished with 10 points on four goals and two assists as the Lady Bobcats improved their overall record to 4-2.

Mira, a forward from Pembroke Pines, Fla., began the week with a two-goal performance in a 7-0 victory over South Carolina Beaufort. While she did not score in the Bobcats’ next game against Shorter, Mira contributed to two goals with a pair of assists as St. Thomas blanked the Hawks 4-0. Mira ended the week the way she started, scoring both goals in the Bobcat’s 2-0 shutout of Thomas (Ga.)
