DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Sam Keller of Webber International was selected as The Sun Conference women’s soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 25. The freshman goalkeeper led the Webber International women to a pair of shutouts on the week as the Warriors improved their overall record to 4-4.
Against NCAA II Eckerd, Keller collected three saves in 90 minutes of action to lead WIU to a 4-0 victory. She followed that with another 90-minute outing against Ave Maria, collecting two saves in a 6-0 conference win.
