DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – For the second time this season, Warner goalkeeper Heather Romanosky was tabbed as The Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week in women’s soccer. The senior goalkeeper garnered the honor after leading the Royals to a pair of wins during the week ending Oct. 2.
Against cross-town rival Webber International, Romanosky played 103 minutes and hauled in 12 saves as the Royals upended the Warrior 2-1 in a double overtime thriller. Her next outing saw the Cocoa, Fla. native record four saves and surrender no goals to help Warner to a 3-0 shutout of South Carolina Beaufort.
