DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Northwood’s Helen Lynskey was a unanimous selection for Sun Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week on Oct. 24. Lynskey, who earned her second weekly honor of 2011, led the Lady Seahawks to a 3-0 record during the week ending Oct. 23, totaling 10 points on four goals and two assists.
A sophomore from Rotherham, United Kingdom, Lynskey scored two goals and assisted on the third in Northwood’s 3-0 defeat of Warner She followed that outing with another two-goal, one-assist performance in the Seahawks’ 6-3 win over Webber International.
