DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Northwood senior Jonathan Dunn captured his third weekly conference honor of the season as he was tabbed The Sun Conference men’s basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 29. Dunn closed out the week averaging 24.3 points on a 23-of-40 shooting clip from the field and 19-of-23 shooting from the free throw line to lead the Seahawks to three wins.
Dunn began the week with a 23-point, six-rebound performance in Northwood’s 86-72 defeat of Palm Beach Atlantic. His next game saw the Toledo, Ohio native score 28 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the field, including 2-of-4 from beyond the arc in the Seahawks’ 82-58 road win over No. 23 Warner. Dunn played 36 minutes in an 81-68 win over No. 20 Southeastern, tallying 22 points and three rebounds.
