DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference office has announced that Chris Page of Embry-Riddle is 2012's first baseball Player of the Week. Page was selected by the conference SIDs for his performances in games played Feb. 6-12, 2012.
The Batavia, N.Y. native helped lead the Eagles to a three-game conference sweep over Warner this past weekend. The senior first baseman went 5-for-13 with an impressive 10 RBIs in three contests. Page smacked three homers against the Royals, scoring four runs and drawing two walks as well. Page leads the nation in home runs (4), total bases (33) and RBIs (17).
