DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - For the second straight week, a Southeastern pitcher has earned Sun Conference Pitcher of the Week accolades. Grant Porter follows his teammate, Dimitri Nunez, after his performance in SEU's win over Florida Memorial this past weekend.
Porter, a junior righty from Lakeland, Fla., threw a masterful eight innings against the Lions, holding them to seven hits without allowing a run. Porter also struck out nine batters to earn the victory in the Fire's 3-0 win.
