DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.—The Sun Conference announced Monday that Jackson Koert, of Embry-Riddle, has been named the Men’s Golfer of the Week for matches played Feb. 19-26, 2012.
Koert shot 69-73-77=219 and finished sixth out of 50 competitors at the 8th Annual Start-2-Finish Classic held at Lake Wales Country Club. Koert has garnered one top five, two top 10's and three top 15's so far in the 2011-12 season. The senior had 34 pars in the 54-hole tournament and was the highest finisher for the Eagles who finished fifth.
