DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.-- The Sun Conference announced Monday that Mark Phillips of South Carolina Beaufort has been named the Men’s Golfer of the Week for matches played Mar. 12-18, 2012.
Phillips continued his strong spring with his first collegiate victory, winning the Sand Shark Classic by three strokes to help USCB claim the team title at the event held at Chechessee Creek Club. Phillips shot a four-over 214 (71-73-70) to win the tournament, finishing first out of 70 golfers.
