DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference announced its weekly award winners in the sport of outdoor track & field on Monday, and Embry-Riddle's Crystal Bardge was named the women's outdoor track athlete of the week for the second consecutive week.
Bardge ran in three events at the Spikes Classic, winning all three preliminaries and all three finals. In Friday's preliminary races, Bardge set "A" standard times in all three events (100m - 11.97, 200m - 24.44, 100m hurdles - 13.90). Saturday the track was running much slower for all competitors, but Bardge was still able to repeat an "A" standard in the 100m hurdles with a 14.06.
