DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - JT Warmoth of Embry-Riddle has been named The Sun Conference Player of the Week for his performance in games played Mar. 19-25, 2012. Warmoth becomes the third different Eagle to earn the honor.
Fifth-ranked Embry-Riddle got big offensive production from Warmoth, a senior from Longwood, Fla. Warmoth went 6-for-11 with nine RBIs and four runs scored. Four of his six hits went for extra-bases, including a grand slam homer against NAIA No. 11 Lewis-Clark State on Monday. The infielder collected a hit in all four games ERAU played and was 1-for-1 on the bases.
