DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Warner senior Akharis Sa-ardphanchia garnered his first conference Player of the Week award of 2012 after leading the Royals’ men’s tennis team to two wins during the wee ending Mar. 25. The Lubbock, Texas native earned two doubles and two singles wins to help the 18th-ranked Royals to a 10-2 overall record.

Against the University of Puerto Rico –Mayague, Sa-ardphanchai teamed up with Patrick Frandji for an 8-5 doubles win at the No. 2 spot and Sa-ardphanchai followed with a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles. Playing the same singles and doubles positions against No. 25 Northwestern Ohio, he earned an 8-4 win in doubles and a 6-4, 6-3 win in singles.
