DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.—The Sun Conference announced Monday that Adriana Saavedra, of South Carolina Beaufort, has been named the Women’s Golfer of the Week for matches played Mar. 26 - Apr. 1, 2012.
The senior shot 73-78=151, nine-over par, for a two-shot win at the 56 player SCAD Spring Invitational held at Wilmington Island Club. The Bolivia native helped the No. 10 Sand Sharks finish fourth at the event.
