DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference announced the first weekly awards winners for the 2012 season on Monday, and Matthew Brust of Webber International earned the men's soccer Defensive Player of the Week award.
Brust shutout the Racers of Northwestern Ohio last week, recording seven saves in a 1-0 victory by the Warriors. The 5-11 goalkeeper from Cape Coral, Fla. led Webber International past UNOH, the first loss in program history by the Racers.
