DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Thomas junior Emma Hewett was tabbed as The Sun Conference women’s soccer Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Night Hawks to a pair of wins during the week ending Oct. 28. Hewett tallied three goals and three assists for a total of nine points as Thomas improved its overall record to 10-7-1.
The first game of the week saw Emmett score one goal and assist on two other as Thomas topped Gwinnett College 4-2. Against Warner, she scored twice, including the game-winner, and assisted on the third goal as the Night Hawks clinched a conference tournament berth with a 3-0 win over the Royals.
