DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - For the second consecutive week, Nadia Givens of Southeastern has earned Sun Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors. The award was voted on by the conference sports information directors.
Givens had a huge weekend as she averaged 18 points and five rebounds per game helping the Fire go 3-0 to win the Hersha Hospitality Tip-Off Classic at Valley Forge Christian College. Givens scored 22 points and pulled down seven rebounds against Ohio Christian to begin the week, followed by a 15 point, four assist, four steal performance against Grace Bible. The senior from Jacksonville, Fla. finished the week with 17 points, seven boards and three assists in a victory over Valley Forge Christian.
