DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - For the second time this season a Northwood Seahawk is The Sun Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week. Ra'Shad James follows teammate Tyrone Davis's honor two weeks ago with one of his own. James was chosen by the conference sports information directors.
James, a 6-1 senior guard from White Plains, N.Y., led the Seahawks in scoring in a pair of wins during the Tortola Classic. James netted a team-high 23 points with eight rebounds and two assists in a 97-62 win over Puerto Rico-Cayey, followed up by a career-high 29 points, six rebounds and five assists against the BS-Virgin Island team in a 113-88 win.
