DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Embry-Riddle's Cesar Pastrana is this week's Sun Conference Player of the Week. Pastrana was chosen by the conference sports information directors.
Pastrana was dominant for the Eagles this week, leading the Blue and Gold to a pair of Sun Conference wins, including an upset of No. 1 Northwood on Saturday. The sophomore led the Eagles offensively and defensively in both games, averaging over 20 points and pulling down 8.5 rebounds per game. Pastrana was also clutch at the free throw line, hitting on 14-of-18 from the charity stripe, including a 9-for-10 performance against the Seahawks. Pastrana's 26 points in ERAU's win over Northwood was a career-high for the sophomore from Colombia.
