DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Jakeem Hill of Webber International is this week's Sun Conference men's basketball Player of the Week. Hill was chosen by the conference sports information directors.
The 6-4 forward from LAke City, Fla. averaged 23.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.0 blocks per game in the Warriors' two wins last week. A senior, Hill scored 25 points, pulled down 11 rebounds and swatted eight shots against NAIA II No. 3 Northwood on Saturday in a 93-88 WIU victory.
