DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Amy Myler becomes the third Ave Maria Gyrene to earn Sun Conference women's basketball Player of the Week honors. Myler was chosen by the conference sports information directors.
A 5-10 senior, Myler scored 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds in a 68-60 win over Southeastern last week. Myler, who ranks first in NAIA II in offensive rebounds per game (4.7), also collected three steals for the Gyrenes in just 24 minutes of action.
