DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Embry-Riddle senior Chris Freeman garnered Sun Conference men’s tennis Player of the Week for the second straight week on Feb. 18. In the Eagles’ only match of the week, Freeman played at the No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles spots against NCAA II No. 4 Barry. In doubles play, Freeman and J.R. Leonik bounced back from a 4-1 deficit to top Romain Costamagna and Ollie Lemaitre 8-4. After dropping the first set 6-2 to Renato Lombardi, Freeman took the second 6-3, but fell 6-4 in the third set.
