DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Kevin Maloney becomes the second Embry-Riddle Eagle left-hander to earn Sun Conference Pitcher of the Week honors as he claimed the award announced by the conference office.
Maloney, a 6-0 senior, tossed 7.2 innings against No. 21 Universtiy of South Carolina Beaufort on Friday, scattering six hits while holding the Sand Sharks scoreless en route to his second win of the season. Maloney struck out six and now has a three-year ERAU record of 21-0.
