DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - South Carolina Beaufort's Kelli Nakano is The Sun Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for matches played Feb. 18-24, 2013. Nakano was selected by the conference sports information directors.

Nakano led the Sand Sharks in each of their first two tournaments in 2013, where USC Beaufort finished sixth in both events. Nakano tied for 16th in the 72-golfer field at the World Golf Village Intercollegiate before finishing in a tie for 10th in the 69-golfer field at the SCAD Spring Invitational.
