DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Sun Conference announced on Monday that Andrew Yanes of Warner has been named the Pitcher of the Week for games played Feb. 18-24, 2013.
Yanes, a 6-1 junior, tossed seven innings against No. 13 St. Thomas on Saturday, allowing four runs, one earned, on eight hits while striking out six against just three walks. The win was Yanes first of the season.
