DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Sun Conference announced its weekly award winners in the sport of outdoor track & field on Monday, and Embry-Riddle’s Mike Edwards was named the men’s outdoor field athlete of the week for events ending Apr. 14.
The senior from Manchester, England is the fourth consecutive Eagle to win the award in 2013. Edwards hit an "A" standard in the high jump, tying his Sun Conference best height of 2.11m to win the event on Saturday at the University of Miami Alumni Invite.
