DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Sun Conference announced its weekly award winners in the sport of outdoor track & field on Monday, and Embry-Riddle's Reta Woodard was named the women’s outdoor field athlete of the week for the thrid time this season.
A junior from Spring Hill, Fla., Woodard competed in four events at the University of Miami Alumni Invite on Saturday, collecting top-10 finished in each event. Woodard won the hammer throw with an "A" standard toss of 58.13m and took sixth in the discus with a throw of 40.47m. She also competed in the javelin and shot put for the first time this season, placing fifth in the javelin with a mark of 28.17m and recorded a ninth place finish in the shot put with a toss of 10.76m.
