DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – St. Thomas senior forward Sara Mira was named The Sun Conference women’s soccer Offensive Player of the week on Sept. 16.
Mira registered eight points in two come-from-behind wins for the Bobcats. In a neutral site match vs. No. 22 Robert Morris Mira scored two goals and had an assist to fuel the comeback win. On Sunday vs. NCAA II Saint Leo, Mira scored on a penalty kick with less than four minutes to play before the half. With the score tied 2-2, Mira had the assist on the game-winning goal in the 70th minute.
