DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Warner senior defender Lindsey McCabe was named The Sun Conference women’s soccer Defensive Player of the week on Sept. 23.
McCabe played all 110 minutes against Talladega College which saw the Royals win 2-1 in double-overtime. The junior was crucial in keeping Talladega at a mere five shots in the game, defending relentlessly the entire match. She also opened the Royals scoring, converting a pentalty kick in the first half.
