DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Helen Lynskey becomes the second consecutive Northwood Seahawk to earn Sun Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors as announced by the league office on Monday.
The Northwood senior stalwart stepped up in a big way for the Lady Seahawks in a 3-2 overtime win. Helen netted a pair of goals against No. 1 Embry-Riddle, including the game-winner off a free kick in overtime, sending Northwood off with the win. Against No. 24 Thomas, Lynskey added a goal and an assist, extending her goal streak to seven straight matches.
