DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Valerie Obita of Embry-Riddle was named The Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week for her performances during the week of Oct. 21-27.
Obita recorded her second hat trick of the year against No. 22 Thomas to help Embry-Riddle to a 4-2 win, clinching the North Division title. With three goals, Obita became ERAU's all-time scoring leader with 70 career goals.
