DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference office announced on Monday that Kelly Brennan of Warner is this week's women's basketball Player of the week. Brennan was selected by the league's sports information directors.
Brennan scored a team high 17 points against Emmanuel College on Friday. Brennan was 3-of-4 behind the arch in her 38 minutes of action. Brennan also helped out defensively, recording five steals and five rebounds in the Lady Royals 55-50 victory. On Saturday, Brennan continued to have the hot hand for the Lady Royals, knocking down 21 points in 39 minutes of action. Brennan was 6-of-8 from the charity stripe and had a team high seven steals in the 69-70 loss.
