DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - University of South Carolina Beaufort's Samantha O'Donnell is the women's golf Athlete of The Month. O'Donnell led USCB to a runner-up finish at the SCAD Fall Invitational on Oct. 22. O'Donnell posted a 74 in the first round and then a 78 to finish with a 152 total and tie for third place.
O'Donnell led the Sand Shark charge in the tournament, improving from fourth place after round one to second place after the final round. The event was the last of the fall campaign for the Sand Sharks, who finished runner-up in three of their four fall tournaments.
