DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Sun Conference has announced that Taylor Britt of Thomas is this week's women's basketball Player of the Week. Britt becomes the first Night Hawk ever to claim Player of the Week honors in women's basketball.
Britt averaged 26.5 points and 11.5 rebounds for Thomas in a pair of games last week. In a 79-73 win over Voorhees, Britt scored 23 points and pulled down 17 boards while collecting three steals before scoring 30 points and recording six rebounds in a loss to Coastal Georgia.
