DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Daniella Ciccarone of St. Thomas has been named The Sun Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 15.
Ciccarone, a senior guard, recorded back-to-back double-doubles in wins over Johnson and Wales and Edward Waters to lead the Bobcats to a 2-0 record on the week. Her 15 rebounds, which included nine offensive rebounds, led all players vs. Edward Waters. She also led all players on the floor with eight assists. She set seven career highs on the week: FGM (6 vs. JWU), FGA (12 vs. EWU), Rebs (15 vs. EWU), OR (9 vs. EWU), DR (10 vs. JWU), Ast (8 vs. EWU), and Steals (6 vs. JWU). Her eight assists vs. EWU and her six steals vs. JWU also marked team-highs for the season.
