DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Timothy Mitchell of Southeastern is this week's Sun Conference Player of the Week after leading his team to two wins last week, including an upset of No. 7 Northwood.
Mitchell opened the week by matching his season-high with 25 points and collected eight rebounds against Johnson and Wales in a 76-65 win. Saturday, in limited minutes due to foul trouble, Mitchell still scored 19 points and hauled in nine rebounds in 23 minutes in an 88-69 victory over seventh-ranked Northwood. From the field Saturday, Mitchell was 8-of-9, and was 3-of-4 at the line. Mitchell also blocked a shot and had a steal in each game.
